From 19 to 23 November 2018in Baku, a delegation of the NCDC headed by the director participated in the 53 session of the UN Subcomission on Illicit Drug Traffic and Related Matters in the Near and Middle East
During the event discussed the current situation in the field of regional cooperation in the fight against drugs and money laundering, obtained from their illicit trafficking. Besidesconsidered the work on countering the spread of drugs, including synthetic ones using the Internet, etc.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in the area of drug control by enlarging regional cooperation and increasing the capacity of the authorized bodies of the countries.
