On results of the 11^th review meeting of the Parties to the Memorandum of Understanding on sub-regional drug control cooperation

 On May 2-3, in Tashkent city took place the 11^th review meeting of the Parties to the Memorandum of Understanding on sub-regional drug control cooperation.

This regional conference provided a platform for discussing the current state, problems and opportunities for expanding regional cooperation in countering drugs and related problems in the region. Special attention is paid to the possibilities associated with the development of transport corridors and the role of regional cooperation on drug control in order to prevent the use of such transport corridors for illicit drug trafficking.

At the end of the conference, the Tashkent Declaration was adopted on strengthening cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and precursors, prevention of drug abuse and psychotropic substances.
