National Information-AnalyticalExamination of the activity of the regional commission on drug control of khokimiyat of Kashkadarya region

In accordance with the work plan of the State Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Drug Control the staff of the National Center on Drug Control examined from April 28 to May 3, 2018, the activities of the regional commission on drug control of the khokimiyat of Kashkadarya region, as well as of the cities and districts commissions for the period from 2016 up to the first quarter of 2018y.
The documentation (work plans, minutes of meetings, etc.) was studied on the ground, conversations were conducted with the chairmen and secretaries of the commissions, narcologists, internal affairs officials, pointed out the shortcomings in the work of the commissions, provided practical assistance in their elimination. Information on new challenges and threats, in particular on the risks of the spread of new psychoactive substances, was presented.
Based on the results of the examination, on May 2, 2018y, a meeting of the regional commission on drug control was held, at which an analytical report with an assessment of the commission's activity was heard. For the purpose of informing the public about this event, there was invited a journalist of the channel “Uzbekistan 24” to the national television of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
